Other Maryland Benefits Continue
Even though the federal government has stopped SNAP food benefits for November, the state of Maryland will still:
- Send cash help through the Temporary Disability Assistance Program and the Temporary Cash Assistance Program this month.
- Give WIC benefits and keep taking new WIC applications. The Maryland Department of Health will share updates as it learns more about federal funding.
- Keep all Medical Assistance Programs open during November.
- New SNAP applications will still be handled by the Maryland Department of Human Services.
- Maryland Medicaid is not affected right now.
