Maryland Physicians Care and the Maryland Department of Health are alerting Marylanders to GET COVID VACCINATED when it’s available to you. IT’S SAFE, IT’S EFFECTIVE, IT’S FREE. We can all help to STOP this pandemic by getting vaccinated.

COVID-19 Home Test Kits Now Available
Effective February 17, 2022, Maryland Medicaid expanded access to FDA approved Pharmacy over the counter at-home COVID test kits. MPC members will need to use their Fee-For-Service Identification Card (Red & White Card) to receive this benefit through a Fee-For-Service retail pharmacy and from a pharmacist. Maryland Medicaid will cover a maximum of four tests every rolling 30 days with no copayment. Members are NOT able to be reimbursed for any out-of-pocket expenses.
Treatment options are now available for individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19. Contact your PCP to learn what options are available for you.
Maryland GoVAX COVID-19 Vaccination Support Center

The Maryland Department of Health opened the Maryland GoVAX COVID-19 Vaccination Support Center to make COVID-19 vaccine appointments and information easily available for Marylanders without internet access. Marylanders who have internet access can visit covidlink.maryland.gov to connect with an advocate.
Call the Maryland GoVAX COVID-19 Vaccination Support Center at 1-855-MDGOVAX (1-855-634-6829) from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week. Please choose the option “No Arm Left Behind” and a support center advocate will take your information for in-home vaccination coordination.

Your local health department may offer transportation to certain vaccination sites. Contact your local health department for more information.
Maryland Medicaid members may be eligible for a ride under the Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) program. To find out if you qualify for NEMT, contact your local health department.
“No Arm Left Behind” is Governor Larry Hogan’s plan to make sure that Marylanders who want a vaccine, especially those who need help getting one, can get a vaccine. Anyone who is homebound, needs transportation or without internet access is encouraged to call the Maryland GoVAX COVID-19 Vaccination Support Center at 1-855-MDGOVAX (1-855-634-6829). Support Advocates are available from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week to help make arrangements for your vaccination.

COVID-19 Testing
COVID-19 testing, when ordered by your doctor, is covered at no cost to MPC members. Call your doctor with any concerns or symptoms, and your doctor will tell you next steps. Your doctor’s phone number is listed on your MPC Member ID card and the secure member portal.
