Maryland Children’s Health Program

Maryland Children’s Health Program, or MCHP, is a no-cost health coverage for uninsured, eligible children in Maryland. This program covers routine check-ups, immunizations and dental care.

Those eligible for free coverage through MCHP are uninsured children under age 19, whose household modified adjusted gross income is at or below a percentage of the federal poverty level for their family size. To find the income level for your family size, see the MCHP income guidelines.
