Ascension Saint Agnes and Maryland Physicians Care Host Community Baby Fair in Baltimore
Families across Baltimore were invited to attend a free, resource-filled Community Baby Fair hosted by Ascension Saint Agnes and Maryland Physicians Care on Friday, April 24, 2026, at Ascension Saint Agnes Hospital’s Alagia Auditorium.
The event brought together local families, healthcare professionals, and community organizations for an afternoon focused on supporting maternal and infant health. Attendees had access to valuable resources, including information on prenatal and infant health, early childhood development, and community support services. The event also featured games, giveaways, and interactive activities for families.
“This event is part of our ongoing efforts to expand access to care, education, and support for families,” said Lesley Wallace, Vice President of Population Health at Ascension Saint Agnes. “We want every parent and caregiver to leave with helpful tools, meaningful connections, and a sense of community.”
Ascension Saint Agnes OB-GYNs and certified nurse-midwives were available to provide personalized pregnancy care and answer questions about services, including prenatal care, labor and delivery, childbirth education, breastfeeding support, and specialized care for high-risk pregnancies and neonatal needs.
More than 120 families attended the event, receiving essential items such as diapers, wipes, baby clothing, formula, fresh produce, and other supplies to support growing families.
“We are proud to partner with Ascension Saint Agnes to support families in our community,” said Shannon Jones, MPC Community Engagement Manager. “Events like the Baby Fair help connect families to the care, education, and resources they need for a healthy start.”
The Baby Fair was made possible through collaboration with numerous community partners, including local nonprofits and service organizations dedicated to improving health outcomes for Maryland families.
