Maryland Physicians Care offers valuable benefits to Primary Adult Care (PAC) enrollees.
We have many prevention and wellness programs available to help you stay healthy.
So join Maryland Physicians Care and choose from many providers and health centers
you already know and trust.
No copays
- Contraceptive drugs
- Over-the-counter prescriptions
- Certain specialty pharmacy drugs
Mental health benefits
- Primary mental health services by your primary care provider (PCP)
Emergency room benefits
- No referral from your PCP is needed.
- MPC pays for the facility services (hospital portion only)
- You will be responsible for the doctor portion of the bill
If you are admitted or your visit is not an emergency, you will be responsible for
the entire bill. For more information about this service please refer to the PAC Enrollee Handbook.
Substance abuse treatment
- No referral from your PCP is needed
- You may self-refer to a certified substance abuse treatment provider for a Comprehensive
Substance Abuse Assessment (CSAA)
- You may also self-refer for individual or group counseling
