  Providers may call the Provider Relations Department at (800) 953-8854, or contact their assigned provider representative. A copy of the preferred drug list is included on this Web site.
  
  
• How do I find out who my provider representative is?
  Maryland Physicians Care assigns every network provider a representative. Provider representatives are in regular contact with providers and/or office staff. Providers may confirm the name and phone number of their provider representative by calling the Provider Relations Department at (800) 953-8854.
  
  
• How do providers obtain authorizations from Maryland Physicians Care?
  Providers may contact the Maryland Physicians Care Prior Authorization Unit seven days a week, 24 hours a day by calling (800) 953-8854. Providers may also send fax requests for authorization to Maryland Physicians Care at (800) 953-8856.
  
  
• How do providers verify enrollment of a patient?
  Contact the State of Maryland's Eligibility Verification System (EVS) at (800) 492-2134 or contact Member Services at (800) 953-8854 to verify enrollment.
